THE REASON FOR THIS SITE
This is the first fully comprehensive site about Piacenza. Something to attract, inspire and arouse one’s curiosity. To discover Piacenza and the surrounding Region; its Tourism and Culture with its historic sites and beautiful landscapes. We have lost the ability to see what is right in front of our eyes, forgetting our roots and the lessons of our past, and so our history can teach us valuable lessons that are sometimes lost, or worse, disappear into oblivion.

The domain name is EU, because we are Piacentini, both Italian and citizens of the European Union. Hence the idea of translating the site into English and French. To bring our culture to others lands and to the countries where so many of our ancestors emigrated.
